- Press window + R.

- Press Windows + R.
- Now type services.msc and press enter.
- Find Printer Spooler on the appeared list and check itsstatus.
- Double-click over Print Spooler, click the General.
- Go to startup type, click the tab adjacent thereto and choose Automatic
- Now click Apply.
- Now to go to the Recovery Tab.
- Set Restart the Service against First Failure and second failure
- Select Take no Action against Subsequent Failure.
- Select from option “Reset fail to count after” up to 1 day.
- Select from ‘“Reset service after” for 1 minute.
- Now click Apply then ok to save the changes.
Clear the Print Spooler files
- First Go to the Local Disk (C)
- Now click window>System32>Spool, and then choose Printers.
- Delete all the files here.
- Now go to Local Disk(C drive)>Windows>System32>Spool>Drivers>W32x86.
- Now delete all the files.
- Go back to Printer Spooleragain, right-click on it and restart it.
Reinstall or update theHP Printer Drivers
- Go to Control Panel
- Locate your printer in the Device and Printer tab.
- Click on the ‘add local printers’ option and click on next and follow the process.
- This will search and install your printer’s driver.
