    There’s nothing better than trekking when it comes to getting up close and personal to nature. India has some ultimate destinations for trekking and routes to discover for all trekking fans! After all, in the various landscapes of the world, there are numerous natural settings that are truly a memorable trekking experience.

    Here are some of India’s best trekking sites for a great trekking experience.

    Trekking in January and February

    This is India’s highest winter season. You can choose to trek in the Indian Himalayas for the snow-capped trails. Zanskar Frozen River Trek, for example, takes you across the river on an ice blanket. For those who love winters and snow, Dodital Winter Trek will be another successful winter trek. Sit down and enjoy the views of the snow-covered mountains by the lovely Dodi Pool. In reality, these winter treks are a final experience for freaks of adventure. The Trek of Chadar is one of the most difficult of winter adventure trips.

    Trekking in March and April

    During these months, the weather is good. Chopta-Chandrashila Trek will lead you to higher altitudes to some religious sights like the highest temple of Shiva. Enjoy adventure excursions, including staying in remote towns in the Chopta valley and camping along the Deoria Tal Sea. Dzongri – Goecha La Trek is yet another tough trek, bringing trekkers closer to the panorama on the beautiful Kanchenjunga. In reality, trekking beyond the wild waters of Dzongri and camping in the middle of high glaciers is a wonderful experiment. You can see many birds, such as the Hill of Prinia, the Golden Eagle, and the Himalayan Monal when you reach the valley of Chopta.

    Kedarkantha Trek, from December to April, is another of the best walking spots in India, which takes you to the captivating forests and snowcapped Uttarakhand countryside. The Lord Curzon Trail or Kuari Pass Trek love what trekkers and adventurers love about the Greater Himalayan Range. This trek leads to the lush valleys of Hathi-Ghodi Parvat, Kamet, and Nanda Devi with panoramic views of the beautiful peaks.

    Trekking in May and June

    During the month the weather begins to warm, while walkers head for some of India’s cooler places that will provide relief from the sparkling sun. Singalila Kanchenjunga Trek is moderate and difficult, and because of its picturesque nature is considered one of the best treks. The Mt. Everest, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga world-famous peaks can be seen on this walk. Both the difficulty and nature are for the trekker throughout the journey. The Triund Trek is another exciting trek in May and June. It is a relatively fast trek, ideal for beginners, and the Dhauladhar range is their main highlight. You must try out the Milam Glacier Trek to enjoy the wildlife at its best and the perfection of nature if you love mountains. Explore these diverse habitats and lonely wetlands when visiting Kumaon.

    Trekking in July and August

    If you intend to hike to the Valley of Flowers in July or August, take a look at this undiscovered Valley of Flowers, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is an exciting experience to go through the lovely, colorful valley in all colors against the backdrop of the snow-capped mountains. Rupin Pass Trek is another trek that will definitely fascinate you as you walk across lush wetlands and get to know the waterfalls from time to time. One of the most amazing encounters of any hiker is certainly the Pin Parvati Pass Trek. Although the tour is very tough, you are rewarded with panoramic nature views and a promising adventure.

    Trekking in September and October

    In the months of September and October, Zanskar Trek trails have become the most common in India. There are several simple walks that can be chosen, and the walkthrough Kargil is one of the best among trekkers. A further favorite is the Singalila Kanchenjunga Trek near Darjeeling, which takes you across Singalila Ridge to the famous peaks of Mt. Everest and Kanchenjunga. The natural beauty show here is very famous. Stok Kangri Trek tests the trekkers’ skills and endurance, as it is also one of the most challenging treks in the area of Ladakh. But for seasoned walkers, it is a dream come true when entering the picturesque villages and lush green meadows. The popular Kodachadri Path, which introduces you to the beautiful diversity of landscapes, will take you towards the south of India.

    Trekking in November and December

    Har Ki Dun Winter Trek provides some of the most beautiful mountain views. Take a walk in the Valley of Gods to get to know the unique Himachalian architecture. The Shepherd’s trail crosses the mountain ranges of Dhauladhar, and trekkers love it for its remote villages and isolated areas.
