    Located at 2,050 meters above sea level in the Beas River Valley, Manali is located in Himachal Pradesh, on the north of the Kullu Valley. The resort town is famous for its natural beauty and temples, with its vast pine and deodar forests and apple orchards.

    Manali is legitimately named “Valley of the Gods” in majestic hills, in its glorified history, its happy atmosphere, religious values, vibrant culture, and historical practices.

    A Traveler’s Perspective

    Want hills, snow-covered mountains, lush, green countryside, picturesque towns, waterfalls, rivers, and clouds? The best place for Manali then! This beautiful city is situated in the state of Himachal Pradesh and is the ideal mixture of suspense and excitement for adventurers, thanks to its strategic location, calm scenery, high-altitude mountains, and deep, dense forests. The attractions that lead you into the world’s natural charm, lush fir trees, and snow-covered pines. You may even be able to see snow leopards and brown bears while you are in the woods.

    This place has something unique for everyone, whether it is single travelers, couples, and families, ranging from beautiful tourist attractions to entertainment. In the Parvati Valley, it is also a gateway for hiking and skiing in the Solang Valley. Manali also provides rafting, paragliding, and mountain riding possibilities in Pir Panjal.

    Trekking: Adventure and nature tastes

    Manali welcomes avid trekkers as well as beginners with enthusiasm and is doing his utmost to fulfill the wishes and aspirations of nature enthusiasts.

    Manali has so much to give from Chandratal Lake Trek to Bhrigu Lake. Here are eight must-do Manali treks:

    1. Hampta Pass with Chandratal Lake Trek

    The Hampta Pass Trek has an amazing view of Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu and Lahaul valleys. For years, nature lovers have been fascinated by the ever-changing landscape. The trek provides a fine view of the valley, including the glaciers and the alpine trees, some wonderful hidden gems. Himalayan flora and fauna certainly add a lot to the spellbinding of this five-day trek. It goes to the magnificent foothills of the Pir Panjal and the great Himalayas. Whilst walking to the top, the circuit provides various natural nuances consisting of green pastures with amazing views of the mountains of Indrasan and Deo Tibba.

    2. Beas Kund Trek

    The Beas Kund walk is one of Manali’s finest. It is considered suitable for all age groups and it is not necessary to have previous trekking experiences. The Bakartach and Dhundi dells are unbelievably magnificent. Fed by glaciers, River Beas’s cold lake is also amazing. The trek starts from the amazing Solang Valley and passes through cascades, green wilderness, small rivers and continues in the direction of the striking snowy mountains. From Solang on to Dhundi walkers will be surrounded by thick forests of deodar and oak trees. There is nothing better than to stay in the striking stream for a night at the campsite. 

    3. Pin Parvati Trek

    Pin Parvati Pass provides a wonderful view of the snow-capped mountains, along with the lush pastures, between Kullu Parvati Valley and Spiti Pin Valley. The Pin Valley in Spiti is often unfruitful while in the Parvati valley of Kullu the landscape is lush and grassy. These two locations are both very different culturally from each other.

    This is Manali’s most adventurous and challenging trek, untouched by many hikers. And this serene beauty enables tourists to take untouched views of the valley. The trip starts in Manikaran and follows the Parvati river and finishes in the valley of Pin Parvati.

    4. Bhrigu Lake Trek

    The melting glaciers constitute a crystal clear Bhrigu Lake. A journey from Gulaba to Rola Kholi leads to quaint little villages, orchards, rustic hamlets, and icy swimming pools. Gulaba, Rola Kholi, and Pandu Ropa are dreamlike journeys that will allow you to discover the tales of wonderland during your childhood.

    5. Deo Tibba Base Camp

    The Deo Tibba Trek is the perfect option for those adventurers who would like to enjoy their holiday in Manali. The winding trek starts in Manalí and passes through various deep wild forests, moraines, wetlands, waterfalls, steep hills, and a high-altitude lake, known as mini-Chandratal, with white water (4480 m). The trek is also a magnificent place to see the Indrasan peaks (6220 m) and the Deo Tibba peaks (6001 m) with the Jagatsukh glaciers.

    6. Sar Pass Trek

    The Sar Pass Trek takes you to the beautiful green wades and peaceful villages in the serene Parvati Valley. This tour gives you an incredible view of cascades and the magnificent peaks covered with snow. A hiker has an opportunity to stay overnight in some beautiful camping places such as Ramsu and Grahan under the dazzling sky.

    7. Great Himalayan National Park Trek

    Tell the Great Himalayan National Park Trek in Shilt Thatch for an ecstatic trekking experience. The trek is full of wild fauna and flora, curves, steep and mountain roads. The park is surrounded by the Tirthan River and you can glimpse the uncommon wildlife species that live in the thick Himalayan forest.

    8. Chandrakhani Pass Trek

    Places such as Pir Panjal, Deo Tibba crest, and Parvati Valley can be found on Chandrakhani Pass. This offers you the chance to witness the mountain’s surreal beauty! Take a journey through the lush green forests and charming snowy areas, the colorful flora, and scenic countryside with welcoming locals. The trek also crosses the dwarf shrubs of rhododendrons, and oak, pine, fir, and chestnut trees, as well as woods.
