- Eligibility Criteria – at least 40% marks in 10th from a recognized board (Maths and Science as main subjects and minimum 40% in English)
- Age Criteria- 17.5 Years to 25 Years
- NCV (Near Coastal Voyage) Course -In this course, the aspirant learns about the sea voyage and gets proper training to become a Merchant Navy personnel. NCV Course is provided by the Indian Merchant Navy. After the completion of the course, the aspirant is sent on a Ship training for 18 months to 24 months with DLP.
- Duration- 6 months
- Eligibility Criteria – The candidate must have passed 10th from a recognized board.
- Age Criteria- 17.5 years to 25 years
- Saloon Rating course- In this course you are trained to handle the responsibilities of the Catering and housekeeping department of a merchant navy ship. After completing the course and f candidates get CDC (Continuous Discharge Certificate).
- Duration- 6 months
- Eligibility Criteria- The student must have completed at least 10th from a recognized board. Perhaps Some institutes do not offer this course to the 10th pass students, such institutes demand a minimum qualification of 10+2.
- Age Criteria- 17.5 Years to 25 Years
- Engine Rating Course – In this course, the individual gets knowledge about the maintenance and operations of engines and associated equipment. An Engine room rating assists the engineering officers in the same tasks.
- Duration of course- 6 Months
- Age Criteria- 17.5 years to 25 years
- Eligibility Criteria- The candidate must have passed with 40 % aggregate marks in the 10th or equivalent exam with Science and Maths as mandatory subjects.
- Commercial Diving Course- In the Merchant Navy, Commercial Diving Course is an important responsibility. In this course, you are trained to dive deep underwater and perform underwater activities like underwater welding, obstacle removal, underwater cable laying, underwater surveying. A candidate must be an excellent swimmer to pursue this course.
